About GSA Government Contract

The GSA was established in 1949 to help manage and support federal agencies. It supplies products for government offices, and manages approximately 500 billion transactions each year. Its goal is to minimize the cost of products by having all agencies purchase the same products at a predetermined price.

Some of the agencies supported by the GSA include the US Air Force, Department of the Interior, Department of Homeland Security, The VA, Medicare, The Smithsonian, and 1200 GSA owned buildings.
