What is Upcycling?

Upcycling is the process of repurposing discarded materials into something of greater quality, creativity, or value. It’s all about taking items that would otherwise end up in the landfill and giving them a second life.

At CleanRiver, we believe in sustainability beyond recycling bins. This National Recycling Day Day, we encouraged creativity by upcycling old puzzle pieces in artwork and repurposing T-shirts into reusable items. Not only does this activity promote waste reduction, but it also inspires imagination and hands-on fun!
